Darel Nasr Castle or "House of Triumph Castle" in English is an old castle in Abu Arish with a mysterious past.
No one knows who built the castle.
The earliest account is in the year 1581, the historian named Abdullah Al-Noman (Died 1657) mentioned in his book;
"Al-Ageeq Al-Yamani" that the local Ottoman governor restored the castle after wars have taken a toll on the structure and it remained strong until the end of the first reign of Ottomans over the region in 1626.

After that all subsequent governors have periodically restored the garrison until it fell into ruins after the fall of the Khairat dynasty in the 19th century.
Nowadays it has been utterally ignored by the Saudi government just like other ruins in the region.
